National Catholic Reporter - Catholics demand Communion for immigration detainees at Christmas

On Dec. 19, more than 50 clergy, women religious, and coalition members gathered outside the ICE Chicago field office as the delegation delivered a letter requesting permission to provide Communion and pastoral care to detainees at the Broadview ICE facility on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
