May 1, 2026 - March to May Day

Since returning to office, Trump’s regime has attempted to spread fear, separate families, and force our communities to comply in advance with his agenda of hate. In response we took to the streets, joined together with our neighbors, and kept each other safe in Chicago and across Illinois.

Consagrando el Barrio / Consecrating the Neighborhood to Mary

Consagrando el Barrio

CSPL has been working with the seminarians at Mundelein Seminary for the past few months! They have developed their own Mundelein Migrant Ministry group and through this effort they have been hosting Marian processions to consecrate certain neighborhoods to Mary for her protection and prayers for our migrant sisters and brothers. In early April, they hosted one at Santa Maria del Popolo Parish in Mundelein and had almost 200 faithful attend!

We invite you to join us this Wednesday for another Marian procession beginning at Mother of the Americas in Little Village. We will process to all three Little Village parishes praying the Rosary and singing. Join us!

What did Jesus’ life look like 2000+ years ago?

This book is an invitation to share in that curiosity about the historical Jesus, what his life was like 2,000+ years ago, what his community experienced, what his teachings meant, and, most importantly, what they can teach us about advancing justice in our neighborhoods and communities through a community organizing framework, grounded in a deeply rooted spiritual life.
