Loyola University Chicago’s Institute for Pastoral Studies (on the Water Tower campus).
The theme of the 2024 CSPL Congress is “Come to the Table.” Inspired by the global Synod in the Catholic Church, “Come to the Table” symbolizes our communion with God and one another, along with the need to form and deepen relationships with one another, strategize, break bread, and take action.
At the Congress, we will:
Learn more about spirit-rooted community organizing and strategize for our upcoming campaigns;
Deepen our knowledge about the liberative spiritual and theological traditions and worship together in a People’s Liturgy;
Engage in workshops on community mapping, the discernment of spirits, popular education 101, and more;
Build relationships and take part in a nonviolent direct action.
